3 opinionated book sluts
1 shared obsession for reading most things romance related
1 kick ass blog

Welcome to The Scarlet Corset.

The History:

It is a truth universally acknowledged that a romance reader in possession of a book must be in want of a blog. One fine day 3 friends came together and decided to share their snark and opinions with the world or…… the 5 people willing to view it. While they had differing preferences on genre, they all firmly believed in calling a spade a spade or in this case not waxing poetic over a book that was barely readable crap. Believing others might benefit from their praise and/or mud slinging , they got down to business. And the rest is history. Now sit back, relax and enjoy the ride as we bring you a little bit of snark, cackle and props.

The Sluttery:

Mistress: Consumes Urban Fantasy,Paranormal Romance,& Romantic Sci Fi/Fantasy novels like heroin laced chocolate chunk cookies. She hearts monsters big and small… creatures sexy and horrifying. But alas, theres much muck to wade through and many time sucks to tame. So she’s ever vigilant in hunting for quality fire & magic.

Reader: Devours regencies by the truckload. She lurves some major tortured hero angst and nothing revs her engine like an arrogant, witty, overbred Englishman. The reason why she loves heroes like this is because when they fall, they have far to fall, the fall is hard, and it’s bewildering to them (and highly entertaining for the reader).

Wanderer: With a top ramen budget what better way to travel than through a good book. From historical hook-ups to contemporary couplings, urban fantasies to paranormal phenomena, her frequent flier miles have reached Guinness World record status. She eagerly awaits her next adventure!
